Monitoring and Reporting
As a Family, we are committed to sharing the successes and hurdles faced of our partner organizations. To ensure effectiveness of our projects, the Family and the Family Foundation team will actively oversce the projects, engage with the on ground team, and visit the project locations. We will regularly assess the progress of projects based on predetermined output metrics to confirm that we are on track to achieve our overarching goals, allowing for timely adjustments if necessary, during the projcct duration.
Furthermore, we are committed to offering unwavering support to our partner
organizations when they face challenges during project implementation. Drawing upon our collective expertise and extensive networis, we will work closely with them to address on- ground issues and keep our initiatives on a successful path.
FUNDS UTILIZATION
Financal Management
One of our core values is transparency and accountability. We expect and trust our partner organizations to utilize the funds responsibly and effectively for the purpose they have been allocated. We also expect our partner organizations to provide unrestricted access to their financial records (related to the project) and to conduct periodic reviews of fund utilization reports.
For ongoing projects, partner organizations will be expected to submit standard utilizations statements at the time of request for the next funding tranche. Audited financial statements will only be expected twice a year (half yearly statement and end of year statement). For one-time projects, audited fund utilization statements will be requested post the completion of the project or at a mutually agreed time. This collaborative approach underscores our dedication to making a positive and measurable impact through our philanthropic endeavors.
Evaluation
We are committed to nurturing enduring partnerships that yield profound and sustainable results. To assess the effectiveness of our projects, we will conduct impact evaluations at the end of the project with the assistance of third- party consultants, to measure the positive outcomes generated.
Before Entering a Partnership
Before facilitating any partnership or support, the Foundation follows a structured process focused on credibility, alignment, and accountability.
Due Diligence
Understanding the background, credibility, government compliances and alignment of the individual or organisation to the cause.
In-Person Visit
Connecting on the ground to better understand the needs involved.
Discussions
Engaging in open conversations to understand goals, expectations, and possible modes of support.
Finalisation
Mutually agreeing on the scope and nature of engagement.
Support Facilitation
Facilitating support in a responsible and ethical manner, aligned with shared understanding.
Continuous Liaising
Maintaining ongoing communication to ensure clarity, progress, and trust throughout the engagement.
